no it is cigarettes because they are designed in a way blasphemous to the sacred and normal use of tobacco.

What is unnatural?

Is milk unnatural? Is honey unnatural? Are beaver dams unnatural?

Just because something is a product of a living organism does not make it unnatural. Indeed, quite the contrary!

I submit to you that anything which exists in the natural universe is natural

LSD, MDMA, these are products of the human organism, and therefore they are natural

Anything that is truly unnatural goes against the Tao

And whatever goes against the Tao shall soon cease to be!

well i don't think there's disagreement here i don't know how you separate people from drugs..... people are the ones who use them and people are the ones who market them for greed rather than for spiritual

Almost everything that's for sale is marketed for greed rather than for spiritual. I work in a health food market and sell and buy nutritional supplements. No matter what the ad says. They aren't concerned with the spiritual more than the $$$$$.

Anything used to addiction is a negative IMO. I have been in the back country and really enjoyed a smoke and it has often stimulated conversation. Then I may not smoke again for a month or two years.

People like cigs because of their oral need to suck on a tit; the Oral Bio-Survival Circuit.(Read Prometheus Rising by Robert Anton Wilson) It's basic animal and hardwired and unless you reprogram your bio-computer you will continue to look for it compulsively, (chew gum, gnaw pencil erasers, eat more than you need (potato chips anyone) etc.
We all want to get back to the womb where all of our needs are met without any effort on our part. Freudians suggest that opiate addiction is an attempt to return to the womb, a return to the "safe space" on the bio-survival circuit; as opiates may trigger neuro-transmitters characteristic of breast-feeding.

wasn't it timothy leary who said that? or at least he incorporated it into his 8 circuit model of consciousness.

Yes. R.A.W. put leary's theorys (rhyme ) to the test in his book.

People are animals. And of course the primate family. They smoke and drink because humans are a bad influence.
