Have my dried 'shrooms retained their potency?

Well, have they? I picked about 200 psilocybe semilanceata last September and have had them between sheets of paper in the loft from then on. They're completely dried out, but I don't know whether they'll still be active. If so, does the potency decrease at all through drying?

If you kept them at a cool temp. in dry conditions they should be pretty good. They will have most like lost a good deal of potency but they should still be very trippy. I've never played with that strain but the cubies keep for long periods of time and still can get you very fucked up. The trick is to dry them as soon as they are picked. You might consider sticking some in honey next time. I like putting fat shrooms in Honey, it seems to make them easier to digest and the taste is lots better. Hey, why don't you eat three of those dried shrooms you've got and let us all know if they're still good.

Semis can keep for years with little loss of potency. I've tripped hard off 30 that were dries 2 years before.
