spores longevity?
    #5587556 - 05/03/06 08:09 PM (17 years, 8 months ago)

If I've had some spores sitting around for the last year or so, is it still a good idea to inoculate with them?

I'm wondering if I will see any good results from using them or if its just going to be a waste of my time.

if they are stuck in polar ice caps or a glacier somehwere out of Uv radiation and other shit they shoudl last 1000's if not 100's of 000's of years. unless the ice effs them up. i know the freezer is bad for spores but i also know that scientists take core samples from ice that old and there stuff that is still viable in there. now who knows if there are any cubie spores ahahah

They're fine. As long as they're still sterile.
