Neglect Tek?

Only moments ago I stumbled upon the Hippie's Neglect Tek. This tek would be PERFECT for me - assuming it works. Has anyone here tried it, or known of anyone who has? This method seems like it would be very difficult to screw up. Does anyone know how long it would take between inoculation and harvest using this tek?

using a live culture you are looking at around a month.
this tek is simple but can contaminate like any other. great results assuming you don't care about looks of the fruits. i didn't use a cardboard box though, i used a 66qt rubbermaid bin lined with dark 45 gallon hefty bags to block light.

Really? Only a month? What are the downsides to this tek? I am looking for a simple method that will take six weeks or less - and yield is unimportant to me as long as there's enough for a good dose or two. This one seems a little too good to be true.

The biggest downside is that the mushrooms don't come out looking too nice. Mushrooms grow invitro and if you want to grow them that way you will be fine.

I have to admit that it is about the simplest guide I have seen yet, and it makes it pretty straight forward. I might give it a little go and see just how easy it will work.

personally i would suggest getting some grain jars or a rye bag from mycofactory. i did it for my first grow and it's idiot proof. all you do is wipe the injection site, wipe you needle and inject through the port. shake it up and wait.

What would be the best strain to use? I'm a first time grower so I want something that will be tolerant of any potential mistakes, but I'd also like one that will grow as fast as possible invitro.

cambodian seems to have a great colonization speed with big fruits. very contam resistant and a harty fruiter. never grew cambodian invitro. i grew mexican cub invitro and they came out pretty nicely.

So would this one be a good bet? I've heard good things about sporeworks.
Or does anyone else have a strain suggestion?

Umm no, starte with a Psilocybe Cubensis strain, not a more difficult less documented Psilocybe hehe.

Sorry, I think I might have linked to the wrong sporeworks page. How fast is the shipping with Ralphster's?
I also notice that his shipping address is
Ralph Box 741 Wheeling IL, 60090
Isn't that missing a street address?

box is prolly a po box. in that case no street would be necessary.

Any thoughts on the Brazilian? Ralphster's page calls them the fastest colonizers of all, and says they're good for beginners.

Also, Ralphster say that the brazilians are "self-solating"... What does this mean?

The bulk neglect Tek is fantastic and works very (VERY) well. Goodluck.
