When you guys take cuttings of a particular plant using rockwool cubes, what do you use to adjust the pH?

Do you have a product you like to use, specified for this use... or do you just use acidic components around the house?

Share tha info!

they sell ph up and down at hydro stores...i know you can use lemon juice to drop it...like a teaspoon per .5 ..as for raising your ph . use .ph up ...you might try fish products if ya cant do the hydro store..if fish can live so can your plants   tap water  is usally like 8-9(around here anyways) out of the tap...so when you add nutes it usally drops it down to 6.5 or so which is perfect for soil, but you said rockwool..so im guessing hydro..you will want your ph around 5.8-6.0 in rock wool..sorry i didnt catch that the first time :smirk:

I've usually used baking soda or vinegar to adjust the pH of my organic nutrient solution. Only tried rockwool once in a hydro setup and that stuff was just labeled pH up or pH down.

"Rockwool Conditioning Solution is a ready-to-use gallon of purified water adjusted to pH 5.5. Not a concentrate...pour directly on rockwool and let soak for 24 hours."

This is the stuff that's readily available at hydro stores, correct?

Thanks for input.
