Well, unless you have a set up that requires next to NO supervision and can tolerate some pretty killer heat, I'd say not very. I think they'd get suspicious if you were coming everyday to check your grow. Some places ARE climate controlled, but their typically indoors which might make bringing materials in a bit more iffy.

Alot of the rental storage places in my area spray for pest removal either weekly or bi-weekly. You might be better off digging a cellar.

Where I live they have busted meth labs that have been setup in storage lockers, so I would bet it not the best place and the other reasons everyone has posted makes alot of sense too.
