I just did a BHO extraction on the trimmings of our last grow. The yield is pretty poor. There is still a tiny bit of butane that needs to bubble out. This was from 5 cans of butane lighter gas and about 75 grams of trimmings.

I think I will dissolve it in alcohol and titrate it onto cigarettes.

Looks like a good yield to me! If you've never smoked honey you'll soon see why you dont yeild as much as you would if you made powdered hash. The potency of an oil is just mindbending. My roommate has made honey from schwag that was immensely potent considering the bud that it came from.

We're using the tubes:
They lie under the soil and should make the soil moist from beneath.
Sleepy, the top 5 cm are removed because I read that that's where the plant deposits it's waste.

growth is looking great, how much time befor you switch to 12/12 (or have you already?)

if your growing on such a large length with only one static light i could imagine it would boost bud production if you used pots.
that way, you could shift them one to the left each day and therefor give them each a day under the "sweet spot" of the light.
but that's just theory, i wonder what magash and the gang would say about this.

Yes, sure is a good idea, and a square box would also be more efficient, but we love the soil container and the drainage watering system because it doesn't take much time to water them. It also isn't a commercial grow so we don't need that much weed, but it's ofcourse always fun to get the most out of our light. We got 317g from our first grow so that's not bad for 400W.
Switching to two 250W lights is the easiest way to get a more homogeneous light distribution in our wide growbox.
Here is a pic of the plants on the sides, only the plants in the middle will produce serious buds:

jeah i saw the pics of the last crop, 317 is really good for the 400w light.
as for the plants in the middle, thats why i was referring to the pots, you could shift them one to the left each day and therefor giving them all the benefits of being under the light.
it would be a lot more work though, and i am uncertain but fairly sure it would be a good thing to do anyway, good luck, its gonna be bomb again, i know it

We didn't make any pictures of how we made the watering system, but we got the idea from a dutch growsite. Here is a picture of the concept we used:

This in combination with the bacteria and mycorrhiza should give the best results and save time. The most experienced growers on that dutch board prefer this over pots.
It's a good idea, but I don't think we are going to change to pots...

Check the difference between day 34 of our first and second grow, too bad we didn't use the same clones/strain for a fair comparison:

Yeah, I'm pretty amazed by these plants. I wonder if it's the improved soil and/or a different strain that causes the difference.
