There was, and it was called overgrow, but it has been shut-down
that's why we need a marijuana subforum

Holy shit, those pictures keep getting better
i was smoking a joint at my window just now and i came to think about your grow, specifically about this picture

i thought "they should make a real time, time laps for that jar!" so, yeah you should
please, please, please make one!
although it would take a little effort, planing and time (real time as in every time you take some out to smoke) make a little mark and stopper for the camera and the jar making sure to take a photo from the same direction of the jar and do your best not to disturbe the buds too much every time you take some of those out... the point of viwe should be near the jar but a wide shot, so that you could see the room around it change as things get moved around and light changes from the time and date of the shot...
i'd love to see that!
video art at its best

That sure is a good idea and I would also love to see that, but I really don't have the time to do that at the moment.
Here is the final timelapse, it stops at week 8 of flowering because I went on vacation:

It gives a good impression of how cannabis grows, but more pictures are needed to create a smooth fast forward video.

looking alright, plants look a bit yellow but i can't tell if that's because of the lighting or some other factor.
Ill tell ya what, if you want to send those clones to me, ill gladly take them!!!
Right now ive got about 30 plants going in various stages. Couple of different strains too, heavy duty fruity, NYC diesel, and Chronic.
Can't wait to see your results!

The yellow is from the HPS light. PM me you address and I'll send em
Thirty plants, wow. Good luck! Do you notice much difference between the strains? Do you have a grow thread running?
I hope you have some friends to help harvesting, cause it's a lotta work

nah, i really dont have a current thread going. I did one a while back but since then ive done a lot more work. To tell you the truth, yes, ive noticed a huge difference between my first grow and second grow. However this is because a.) i was better prepared on my second grow and b.) my genetics came from a verified source rather then just some seeds i was taking someones word for.
Even though i have a total of 30 plants, they are in different stages of growth. I have about 7 flowering right now, 16 rooted clones, two mothers, 3 newly sexed females, and one male that will be culled. This is also the count before i clone the plants that just preflowered. Ill probably be taking 3-4 cuttings a piece from the new ladies.
I guess ill just have to create a new thread so you can see my progress.

I have two spots for my plants. One is a ft deep 7 ft long closet that houses my vegging plants. The other is a 4x4x7 ft hydro hut which houses my flowering plants.
My last grow went better then my first. Still ran into some problems and lost a lot of my yield because a ton of my major fan leaves got fried.
Heres a pic of a nugget from the last one (heavy duty fruity from serious seeds)

ill have to guesstimate a yield because i didnt have a scale to weigh it and we've been since smoking on it as well.
2 plants gave me around 1 to 1 and 1/2 oz's.
wattage was 430 watts HPS

holland.
hey cyber, how many plants are in there ?
also, have you considered my suggestion of a lightrail ? that could boost your yields even more !

Yeah, Holland It's still illegal to sell clones though, but at most grow shops they do so under the counter. Yeah I have considered a light rail, but it's quite expensive, though we could try and make our own. I was more thinking about buying two 250W lights instead of the one 400W.

Good idea to get the 2 250's. Light rails are good for vegging plants but with budding plants the difference between plants that get constant light and lights on rails is night and day.

I think I could just move the 250W lights closer to the tops, cause they generate less heat. But we're already pretty pleased with the yield of the last one. But it's also fun to keep trying to improve it. New lights and especially the ballasts are really expensive though.
