Get B+ or Equador. I have only grown two strains - pesa and tasmanian. I am extremely happy with the tas. I got a huge yield and they are very potent. Though it is just luck and it's best left to the shroom gods, as peeps here say. Good Luck!

if you already know its a matter of opinion, why ask? everyone is gonna have a different answer it doesn't matter what strain you get. pick one that looks good. haha that being said, B+ is good average all around... but that's my opinion.
both vendors are indeed reliable.

This question has been asked a million times here. A poll of just about every strain was done before and still, no solid answer. Pick any strain. If there were one great strain that was better then all the others, it would be the only one sold.

ted has some nice looking fruits and is a very decent colonizer.
brazilian has caps that aren't too big but makes up for it with speed.
puerto rican is a fast colonizer with perfectley round caps and deep dark spore deposits.
ban hua thanon has big caps and that was my main attraction.
hawiian has nice colonization speeds and is highly rhyzomorphic. haven't seen the caps yet but looks prommising.
i'm still working with eq so i have no other input on this one except is colonizes nicely.

I'm also in the same situation. I want a strain that is most forgiving for my first grow.

Follow the teks to a "T" and you shouldn't need forgiveness. B+ is a typical "starter" strain if you just need to hear a name.

B+ is great for beginners, very easy to work with and a good colonizer, good end results as well.
GCs are fun, and ive found the PR colonize quick - however there small mothers.

Ban hua thanon caps aren't that big from what I've seen. They're my favored strain atm, and I've grown them 3 times. They don't get very big, but they colonize pretty rapidly and they're contam resistant like a mofo. On top of that, for being smaller they pack quite a bit of punch. I've heard they're all but insane on horse poo (I'll verify this in about 2-3 months).

The best strains to get as a newbie are those that tend to always provide viable and healthy phenotypes - well
