casing with pelletized gypsum/peat
    #5579783 - 05/01/06 11:46 PM (17 years, 8 months ago)

What do you guys think?  They didn't have oyster or lime so that's what I got.  Do you think I should leave it in it's b-b sized hard pellets or crush them up into powder for maximum absorbtion?  I'm buying a pH tester tomorrow to achieve optimal results.  Opinions? Comments?

Thanks

Powdered gypsum works best for our uses. The pellets are for slow release in a garden over the whole summer growing season. Just tear up a piece of sheetrock. It's cheap enough.

Pellitized Gypsum dissolves in warm water in about 5 minutes.

40 pound bags for eight bucks.

But you want to mix it dry in powder form so it distributes evenly in your mix.

Well, since you already add water to your mix, then why not water saturated with gypsum?
