he's going to go out and spend $20 when for $10-$20 more could have one twice that size.

to the original poster of this thread...
anything smaller than a AA910...10 quart pc is too small...IMHO
a AA910 will hold 10 half pint jars...or 4 quart jars.
You can pick up a larger Presto...and do alot more jars.
And another thing to consider is...a 15 psi pc is better than a 10 psi pc by far.
But do what you wanna do.

actually I haven't decided if I'm going to buy it yet. But i'm not going to really be doing large grows so i dont need a large pc. I realize it doesn't do quart jars but that isn't going to be a real big issue for me.

yah, but the small one wont even hold that man 1/2 pint jars. While sterilizing jars is an easy process, it takes a few hours. Being able to do larger runs lets you do more, or have more jars for later use. This way when you want to inoculate you wont have to PC as often.;

its always good to have a PC that can reach up to 15psi, for mose of the teks that require the PC cook at a 15psi pressure.
You will just be wasting time and money IMO, if you decide to get this.
