Well, it's a cube... they love manure and straw and will grow wonderfully outdoors if the conditions are right.

I believe you may need to do some research around this site. You should check out some of the VERY useful and informative write ups... you may want to start here - http://www.shroomery.org/index.php/par/3

OI has the same parameters as the other cubes. Though they might be slight deference between the strains, I dont think it will impede what your doing. A cube is a cube

Though I am not familiar with outdoor grow as to the set up.

What are you spawning it with,

BRF will work. Its still a cubensis right.. so treat it just like any other cubensis.

WBS would be recommended over BRF... especially for an outdoor grow that would involve h/poo and spawing to it. I would even go as far as recommending the use of mycobags, but Qt jars of WBS spawned to h/poo would work wonders.

:peace:

Right then, im going to say that you should do as you please with your jar substrate because you can never be sure as to how rhyzomorphic one syringe will be to the next (when purchasing from a vendor you basically dont know how the strain will produce).

BRF, as you already know, is not the wisest choice if you are going for potent fruits, so WBS may be a wise choice. Especially when spawning as it breaks up easier, which you probably know as well, so pardon me for this rambling.

So basically, you want the same temperatures as you would use for any other cubensis, and follow an outdoor tek that you wish to use. I hope I have helped a bit.

Good luck with your grow

I have seen some dinner plate sized OI fruits. Tried to replicate it by ganking elephant poo from the zoo, but I got impatient and didn't let it dry/cure completely before pasturizing it.

NASTIEST contam smell I've ever smelled. Complete, 100%, chucking material. Didn't even think about trying to do some outdoor with that puppy.. UGH . you'd still be gagging 20 mins after you lifted the foil.
