Blowing smoke out a window?

So I'm in the top floor of my house smoking, and I was simply wondering what the odds of the neighbours ever smelling it are? Does the smoke rise, or does it blow around, and does it become so dilute no one can notice? It's 1 am here so I doubt anyone would notice anyway.

dude.. you don't need to go outside. Simply blow it outside your window. The smell will dissipate before anyone even notices. And even if they do smell a little of it.. which they wont.. they arnt gonna do anything. Blaze away my friend!

yea I blow my smoke out the window, also try running your A/C or its fan that way it will blow the smoke out the window with a positive pressure, that or cut a hole in your ceiling and mount an in-line fan on it so the smoke goes into your attic (I have that setup for removing heat from a HID light, but it removes smoke just as good).

Yeah, blow it out your window. I think you're just paranoid. Smoke it up

I don't smoke weed often (thanks unstoppable paranoia!) and am very sensitive to the smell of it. I live on the second floor in an apartment and I can smell it when neighbors are smoking it as well as when people are outside smoking it. Not that big a deal to me, but it is most certainly a discernable scent to others around you.

yes but with the wind factor there is no way to prove that the smoke came from your window and thus there is no need to worry.

Paranoia, especially about this, is healthy to an extent. I believe the chances of a neighbor causing trouble for this are slim, but still possible. I had a neighbor file an injunction against me for smoking cigarettes on my porch. Well, it was for telling her to go play in traffic, but she cited the smoking anyway. The injunction never amounted to anything, but if she had been accusing me of smoking marijuana on my front porch and mentioned it directly in the paperwork, there's no telling who besides my landlord would have taken interest. Knowing my rental company, there would have been at least one 'housekeeping' inspection immediately following it.
Make sure your neighbors have no reason to create problems for you, maybe with some light socialization or something. If they begin to have a problem with the smoke, they'll more than likely tell you first if they like you well enough.
If your nearby neighbors have heavy allergies to even light smoke exposure then move. You'll love yourself afterwads.

my neighbors don't care anyway, I blow smoke out the window during the day when there outside or in there garage, they are just some old people who just like to mind there own business and there sun was a major pothead when he was young (he in he 40's now and lives next to me too because he couldn't bare to move more than 500 ft. from his mom).
