"the mark of the immature man is that he wants to die nobly for a cause, while the mark of the mature man is that he wants to live humby for one." explain you you agree or disagree with this philosphy.

I would say that the difference between the immature and the mature man is that the former strives to become an ideal whereas the latter doesn't strive at all. He is simply himself.
Wouldn't this topic belong to the Philosophy forum?

Ok, first of all, you do know that there is a place for philosophy. At this time of night, if you're not drunk and talking about walmart, the pub doesn't usually want you.
But Re what you said, I can't stand quotes. Some douche bag thinks something so everyone has to argue back and forth within his philosophical paradigm. Fuck that. To say that a person is one thing or another because of any one reason is horse shit. Remember Donnie Darko: "you're forgetting about the whole spectrum of human emotion."
immaturity doesn't necessarily have anything to do with being a marter, or a servant.
That being said, throwing your life away in a vain attempt for a lost cause is probably worse, for myself, than living a life not worth remembering.

Agreed.
I would describe myself as being a humby, humby, humby person.

I find the different arguments of philosophy really interesting. I eamn yea it's an endless arguemnt but there is so much you learn from just philosophical debates and discussion. whether it's a conversation in contemplating and reflecting on life. or in a classroom debating what's beauty.
I hate philosophy papers. I hate the idea of having everything figured out. i like having the argument present. I like when i can't figure it out. It's part of the beauty in life for me.
I'm not saying this in anyway to mean "you're way of thinking is bad". I just thought it was interesting to see someone hate the pointless arguement that i so love. and i'm just sharing how i feel about it.
