inoculation Temp

Someone do me a huge favor and remind me of the correct temp for the WBS jars I knocked up two days ago.
And no flame wars. I know some people recommend room temp (my room temp is around 70-75F these days) and some people recommend something a bit warmer. I just can't remember the correct number and finding it via search has proven unfruitful.

your room is fine man unless you have a real incubator. don't bother rigging anything up for a few degrees. but normally 82-84 is what your shoot for. 29-30C

well you're looking for an incubation temp, not an inoculation temp, that's probably why
86F is the ideal. since the growth will produce some of its own heat, folks like to keep it between 82 and 84. absolutely never exceed 100.

yup, 80-82 works for me, sometimes gets up to 85-86 mid day, but no biggie.

Wups. I forgot to ask -- what should incubation RH be? My jars are 1 quart wide-mouth bell jars with pretty small holes, covered with micropore and the whole jar is covered with a tyvek dustcover.
So I don't imagine the RH will matter much.
My holes are 5/32" (two per lid) and, again, covered with micropore. Is the tyvek dustcover going to suffocate my jars?

yup, RH doesn't matter one bit when incubating since the environment is controlled and confined to within the jars, and if you followed a recipe they should already have the perfect amount of moisture.
tyvek is used because it is breathable, you're ok there too.
