Better Style of Living for college?

Im transferring to a new college and i have these 2 options for housing. The buildings hold the same # of students.
1. 15 story building. Regular dorm style. It is a co-ed by wing
2. 5 Story Building. Suite style living (meaning 4 rooms connected to a bathroom, living room, and then 4 dorms with 2 people in each). Co-ed by Suite.
At the school im at now I live in a suite kind of thing and its allrite. The people in my suite are pretty chill but if they werent i would reckon it might get kind of annoying having them in your business and shit.
And i never lived in regular dorms. what would you all reccommend i do? They are both in the same area so its not like one is closer to the gym, lunch hall, my classes, etc. Its only for a year until i get an apartment too.

Yea i want to live in the dorms for a year to get to know people on campus.
Also in a year i will be able to get a school sponspored apt. Basically its a nice apartment and it only costs $7000 a year to live there and you can live in it year round. Its a pretty good deal.

Ferris said: Your talking about an on-campus apartment I'm assuming. Consider this near the end of your year in the dorms, but you might decide that getting an off campus apartment is a good idea (the campus still has certain authority over what you do in the on campus apartments). I'm just assuming you would want more freedom to do... stuff if your hanging out in the shroomery
yea. there like a mile away from campus and have a shuttle. But yea im gonna see what the situation is like. At the campus im at now they have apartments and i wouldnt mind living in them at all.
Also gonna see what my buddys are doing. Its a long time away im just saying right now isnt a good time for me to get an apt.
