stealth incubation

So after spending a little time in the security forum, i got a little paranoid and decided to take my hobby into stealth mode. im not into bulk, i just love the insight shrooms give me and i only grow enough for me and my girlfriend.
so the first part of my project was to make an incubation chamber that would look completely normal and would look normal from any angle.
So i took an amp, stripped it down of all neccesary parts and then reattached anything that was on the outside, all dials, knobs and such. i then spraypainted a piece of cardboard black and attached it to the screen so that you couldnt see through it and notice that there was no speaker in it.

i put a heatbomb inside and some canned food to support a notebook that would keep the jars off the heatbomb so the heat would evenly distribute throughout the top of the chamber.

put the notebook ontop of the cans, ran the wire through a hole i drilled in the top, ran my remote thermometer through the same hole, and put a towel over it just to keep heat from escaping

then i reattached the back so that it looked like the cord was just the cord to the amp, put some jars in and turned it on. 5 minutes later:

85 and steady. woo.
finished result:

85 and steady. woo.
now onto my stealth minifridge fruiting chamber.

Right on !! Very cool stealth inccubator setup, thats usin the ol noggin. Now, comparing it practically to any other TiT setup or other large contrainer type's, it definately isnt as convientent. You'll have to keep us posted on how well it works. Also, what if a friend wanted to randomly jam out on your electric ...THEN WHAT?!?! O.O
Or
Maybe your mother is over and she's getting sentimental and wants you to play her somthing nice to recount all her loving memories of your childhood ...THEN WHAT !?!?!
Heres somthing I read too. Wooden surfaces could possibly introduce, or up the risk for contams. Ecspecially if it gets wet and such. Of coarse, if that amp was treated, then you shouldnt have to worry.

yeah its def not convenient, but its pretty easy access as the front is attached with velcro. i thought about someone wanting to use it to, even tho i have a much better amp, but you never know someone might say "oh man i love the shitty sound that comes out of the small amps come on man let me play" so for that i took a screwdriver and messed up the jack for the cord. so now its my "broken amp that im going to fix soon" in case anyone asks.
ive been thinking that i might paint the inside with anti-fungal paint so that i dont find out the hard way that the wood wasnt treated.

being a guitarist, i will tell you that the amp is serving a much better purpose as an incubator than an amp.

Futurewolf--if you want stealth you can just grow invitro (in the jars). You could just leave the jars in that converted amp and just provide some light for pinning. You won't get huge yields invitro--somewhere close to the PF tek--but it is the simplest tek for stealth. And 6 cakes for 2 people should have you tripping as much as you could want. GL.

excellent idea. i currently have 1 1/2 pint growing invitro as we speak. im curious as to how easy its going to be getting out of the jar though. im still testing the waters with alot of things..im pretty new to this hobby still.
