well youd want to make sure that they are indeed junonius. In general I am not aware of any lethal poisonings from any of the gymnopilus species but if they dont stain blue it is unlikely they will be active. I found some of these recently up in the mountains. No blue staining was present at all.

There are deadly mushrooms which can mimic Gymnopilus, so please be certain of your ID.
In my experience, Gymnopilus spectabilis (junonius) cause diarrhea if eaten, so I make a very thick tea from them. Here's a link. http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/3400828#Post3400828

Yellow indicates that they are not of the genus Gymnopilus. Did you spore print them properly (takes several hours).

It should bruise blue but the spore print should be rusty colour
