Ive played wiffle ball 2 hours after eating an eigth of cubes. We actually played home run derby. When I was in the field I would see tracers on the ball like a video game but I had good coordination. When I was batting I could swing harder than I ever swung before and still have control of my swing. I could see the ball perfectly. I could hit the ball wherever I wanted. I easily won the home run derby. We then threw a nerf football around I did that well also until I got the ball stuck high in a tree. It was like constantly being "in the zone".

I gave my friend some shrooms at a party and he started playing beer pong. He didn't miss one cup the whole time and was tripping pretty good. His last shot he took was behind his head, facing the other way and he bet 100 bucks he would make it. He made the last cup from behind his back and won the bet. We had to leave shortly after and he said, I could see the cups glowing gold around the rims and just knew I was untouchable. It was a crazy thing to watch. He didn't miss one cup!

well im not so much a sports guy but the way you describe it is the same experience i've had with music... ive got a collection of all sorts of instruments, some of which i play well and have played for years, others yet that are around more or less for novelty... well i pick any given one up during a trip and its the same deal: fumble around with it for a few minutes, but that feeling of "what the hell is this i cant deal with this right now" kind of fades until snap, i realize i'm totally rocking out on something i may or may not even normally play i have a hard time maintaining it because i always hit a point where i have to just stop and shake my head (haha and remember clearly once shouting out loud to nobody "what the hell was THAT!") and totally leave myself in amazement that that was even possible let alone coming from me.
its almost like a relaxation/clearing/centering, im sure most people have had most of their best visuals when they weren't thinking about it, clearing their mind and unfocusing, gazing but not staring... i think its the same thing, only it manifests itself in the activity you're performing... with really intense visuals, that's the result because you're probably only just sitting there (and who can blame you for wanting to just sit there sometimes ) play a sport or an instrument or what have you though, and you're channeling your awareness through there, locked in that same clear-headed state - same analogy if you can follow me, "gazing" at your activity rather than "staring" at it
wish it wasn't so fleeting though... can't get that feeling back no matter my mindset when "sober"... but no fears, i'm sure its something i can learn.
oh, and i've got some recordings over the years as proof to myself it really did sound good, and not just sounded good at the time

I find that if I'm not tripping too hard that my coordination is substatially improved. I've experienced quite a bit of improvement in my ability to skate from a few sessions on 1.5 g doses of cubes. Similarly, assuming my ability to concentrate is still intact, my creativity and abilities seem to increase on guitar as well. If I exceed 2 grams however this all changes.

I remember just a couple days ago me and yageman were posting back and forth about playing a musical instrument while tripping. to sum it up, its the exact same how the dude said he felt like kobe, my best jams have always been during the peak of a mushroom trip - and it's not "just all in my head." sometimes it gets really creepy, and i will almost have to put the instrument and say to myself "where the hell did that come from?" Although i'd like to believe it comes from deep inside me, I think it may be channeled from somewhere else.

don't sell yourself short, surely it comes from deep inside you... but the energy to reach in and get at it is channeled from somewhere else.
that's what i mean when i say its something i want to learn... to have *that* with me and at my disposal because in a way its already there

I too have experienced quite a few smaller dose trips where my coordination was shot upward. Folfing (frisbee golf, disc golf, etc.) is incredible when on mild doses.
A lot of the time when Im coming up to a trip I'll go outside with a soccer ball and juggle it. I can go out, start juggling, and by the time I drop the ball I'm starting to really get into my trip.

It depends on the sport. One time I tried playing ping pong while tripping on mushrooms, and it just didn't turn out all too well! I'll leave it at that. Anyways, I love to surf on a mild dose. It truly is a blissful experience.

I dance really well on a comedown, or a low dosage of shrooms. And I don't normally dance at all.

I can compleatly understand what you mean creamcorn, When ever I am sober and just jamming on the guitar I focus on it so hard that I reach this point to where It feels like I am just sitting back and watching as my fingers do all the work as if I have no controll over them.
Almost as if they have a mind of there own, often it feels like I am not even moving them, and then I pull of a really sick riff and i am like woah that was solid, where did that come from?
For some reason tho when I am stoned my motar skill's cant keep up with what I want them to do so feel stupid and frustrated when I cant pull of a chord or somthing.
LSD is a diffrent story, I dont feel so cloudy head'ed and heavy on acid like I do on marijuana so its easier.

I really recommend someone who thinks to posses "bad" drawing skills to take a small dosage and try to concentrate on drawing.
I was hugely positively surprised of the outcome and I can say that I found out a new hobby. I never believed or even knew the possibilities. It is mainly because of the concentration and the visual clarity of "a bigger whole". Hard to explain.
But having seen and experienced all this, I now know that the nonexistent skills are there to be practiced and I have still much to learn and I'm sure the future will reward myself through learning.

Once on a holiday with a couple of families with kids etc., me and two friends each took about an 8th of shrooms and went for a forest trip. We got back on the comedown, and I suddenly felt very energetic. I took on anyone at the ping pong table who wanted to play me, and I crushed all of them, while usually I would be on a par with some of them. I played hard and fast, and very instinctively. Anything seemed to work if only I tried it. The trippy part of the trip was over though, it was more like the afterglow.
The forest trip was great too!

i used to take lsd in high school and play basketball
you don't win too many games
but its a lot of fun
especially when you zone in and out and refocus and the shot goes in

When I smoked weed while playing soccer (yes, actually while on the filed running and playing I smoked a fat J with a friend lol) and I would mentally project how every player positioned themselves as a play was happening.. it felt pretty cool and I was really into the game.
When I took shrooms I was completely disoriented and I kept asking my friends "what the hell is the point of this game, just running around kicking a ball for no reason and people get so competitative..." and i was really lazy as well... it all depends on so many factors so to say shrooms help your game or make it worse is totally subjective to the dosage and the setting... and your mental state.

I've found I can run incredible distances in the second half a shroom trip, and I've done a 5 hour trail run one time and another time did 35 kms on streets. I've played tennis also a few times, and that was really weird. Especially the time I played on clay on a summer night in amsterdam with wind blowing so hard that everyone else was playing indoors. The clouds were blowing by really fast and I felt like I was playing against Sauron or something.
One time I snowboarded. It was harsh during the comeup, I felt weak and incapable. Then in the second half it was great. Then we took a break at about 4pm and by the time we got back out there it was dark. We smoked a bowl and went night skiing and it was a totally different world, felt like we were now snowboarding on the moon and I did some of my best boarding at this time. I'm going to board on mushrooms this weekend for the second time.

wow, some people have actually played sports while tripping.
I have tripped a whole hell of alot. That shit never appealed to me.
I wouldnt mind some mindbending pingpong though.
My heart rate is already fast enough on hallucinogens.
Is Hiking a sport? lol

Hiking is the best. That is my usual shroom activity of choice during the summer. Lakes, mountains, snow, clouds, oh yeah!
