(PICS) My simple tutorial on "How to make your own glove box"

There isn't much to this glove box. I learned by my 2nd fruit that I was no longer going to pay a dime for a syringe or print when it was SO simple to do it myself for free. I suggest anyone afraid of trying or who hasn't done it yet to stop paying and start experimenting. Really. Unless you want a new stain you don't need to buy any more online. So here are the SIMPLE instructions on how to make a glove box
Items needed
Heavy Duty Long Rubber gloves 20 or 30 gallon fish tank Thin sheet of plexi glass Glue Tape

You can purchase all of the above at home depot or any good hardware store. My fish tank was 10 buxs on Craigslist Free Classifieds

I started off by getting my thin sheet of plexi glass and cutting it to fit like a lid on top of my fish tank.
Once this was achieved I took my small coffee can and heated it up with a blow torch (wearing thick leather gloves) and melted two circle hole into the plexi glass. If you don't have a blow torch just use your stove top.

After the holes were in place I taped one side of the lid onto the tank which worked like a hinge so I can open and close the tank. When the tank was in use I would seal it closed using tape to no air could get in to contaminate.
I inserted my gloves and glued like crazy. Once dry I added powder inside the gloves so I could slide easily in and out.

Thats it!! Its that easy!! Now I can make spore prints, syringes, and inoculate with the lowest risk of contamination. I have yet to encounter contamination..

Thanks.. Hope you enjoyed this simple glove box by fozi

What aisle did you find those gloves? Plumbing, gardening, toxic cleanup, or what? My duck tape and dishwashing gloves setup is working out peachy, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time before I tear them. I'm asking you because a simple question like "Where are the deck screws?" is far too complicated for the local HD crew. They drool all over themselves trying to figure out what you mean by "screw".
I actually do have some toxic cleanup gloves, nice and long but they're so bulky I'd probably fumble the syringe all the time.
