vermiculite alone as casing

My dog's friends, the cats down the street, were wondering if it would be worthwhile to case a terrarium of mold on birdseed with vermiculite alone. They don't have any peat moss, and there cat-car broke the crankshaft, so they can't get to *-mart anymore...

mold on birdseed? throw em out....unless you meant fungus on birdseed...then yeah..you can case it with verm. but i would recomend a 50/50 mix...youd prolly have a bigger flush. you can use jiffy mix ...that would work just fine...but since your dogs pal cant drive anywhere and verm. is all that pussy has ..it will work fine....
