Damn, your classes seem challenging. Too bad engineering is boring you. Perhaps it's just your school, or the classes you've taken so far? The job market is great for engineers right now, isn't it? How long have you been studying engineering?

oh shit! that reminds me, i had my last american history test tonight and i had to write a 2 page essay in class about the civil rights movement from 1945-1968.

i wrote a decent paper, and then decided to conclude it by stating my belief that LSD helped the baby boomers to throw off their parents old racist views. i dont think the movement would have been as strong or effective without all those young, white kids yelling for black rights. it was only a paragraph, and worded a lot better than what i just wrote, but it still felt good to include it in my paper.

my professor is pretty cool too, i think he'll appreciate it. its bound to be different than all the other essays hes gotta read and grade

atlantas pretty cool, i dont know where else i would want to live. maybe cali.

im only 20, so i cant really speak for the club scene, but most of the people here are cool. it just sucks that i live in Cobb county. it was one of the fastest growing counties in the nation a few years ago, and meth has gotten really bad here. consequently, cops are crawling everywhere. i hear we have a higher cop to person ratio than NYC.

i havent declared my major yet, i just finished my freshman year. im thinking about psychology though.

heh, ive been the minority in every school except my college. my high school was about 50 percent black, and 20 percent white with mexicans and asians mixed in for the rest.

it was an experience, and it definately gave me some perspective, ill tell you that much. all the black folks either liked me or respected me though. i sold to all of them and i could smoke them all under the table. its not really a big deal, but it was always hilarious when they told me they couldnt smoke anymore, so i would just face a blunt to the head. them gangstas would be all "daaaaaaaammn, white boy smokin like a G!"

one of my best friends was black, i got him to do shrooms and acid and x too. he was a really cool guy, one of the smartest and well spoken people ive ever met.

I'm majoring in English, and I have either 3 (Bachelor's), 5 (Master's), or 7 (Doctorate) years left. I'm completing my first year of college next month. I'm joining the Peace Corps after I graduate, which I'm potentially considering after receiving my Bachelor's, since I don't think I want to stay at HSU for 6 years.

Yeah man, I'm with you regarding the socializing thing. I live with my sister (the two of us moved out here from the midwest), and besides her, and random polite conversation with people I work with, or attend school with, I don't socialize - at all. It's hard to get people to totally grasp what I mean when I say I'm a hermit and a misanthropist. Eh, maybe that's inaccurate. I do like people, but the majority of people suck so bad that I don't bother. I tell myself that one day, I'll meet my crew. I do have two friends I'm particularly fond of that I met in high school, although one still lives in the midwest, and the other is overseas.

My "I can drink so I'm going wild" period was my freshman year of high school through my junior year of high school. I think my head is screwed on pretty damn straight right now. I'm typically quite responsible. I've worked closing shifts (which last until 10 PM) the last three evenings, and since two of my classes were canceled tomorrow, I only have one (the one in which the paper is due). I have yet to miss a day of college, which is a hell of an accomplishment, considering I missed over 20 days of my senior year, and barely graduated.
