I found these in a cow field growing in manure around college station, texas. One of them is bluing like crazy but i cant really see signs of bluing in the other three. The spore print on them look black but I haven't had them that long so once they have sat out more i will let yall know.

Dont think that those are all cubes but that one with the bluing is a cube for sure. Check the others for bluing, purple spore prints, and a veil around the top of the stem. Nice find though. Bout time someone else found some cubes in CS.

Well the spore prints are purple and the they all have purple veils on the stem but they dont seem to be bluing. Does this mean the ones that are not bluing arent cubes?

The bluing ones are cubes for sure like shrum said. I'm also a little suspicious about some of the other ones, specifically the one in the lower left hand corner of your second picture and some of the non-bluing stems.
very nice find though, just wait for some more confirmation/advice about the non-bluers. Safe bet is just to assume that the non-bluing ones aren't cubes.

Nice. In the second pic, you have the stems laid next to the cap. The top one may be an agaricus. The second is a cubensis The third looks the same as the first, agaricus maybe. The last one maybe stropharia. Don't eat anything that doesn't blue like that second one.

if you consider finding 1 Psilocybe cubensis mushroom successful, than yes you were successful.
and sometimes for some people eating 1 fresh Psilocybe cubensis is enough for a trip

That's the interent for ya. Most people in the hunting forum aren't fans of someone bragging about finds with out pictures for proof. I'm guessing thats why you got the reaction you did.
However, I agree. Better cubes could be found, but the one pictured will do the job none-the-less.

you only have one print in that picture thats even close to a complete spore print.....and as mentioned by Louise you have Agaricus in that picture.....a poison one by the way.....which doesn't have a purple brown spore print but "chocolate brown" spores.....the blue stem and cap are as already mentioned a CUBE......and as mentioned you dont want to eat anything that didnt BRUISE BLUE and has a DARK CHOCOLATE PURPLE BROWN to ALMOST BROWN PURPLE BLACK sometimes to JET BLACK spores......some mushrooms that bruise blue can be poisonous.....

Yeah well it was a sucessful hunt for me because i havent found shit the past couple of times i have been out. Probably a combination of inexperience and poor weather. So what I am looking for is a mushroom that bruises blue and has a jet black spore print-copes or bruises blue and has a dark brown to blackish spores-cubes? Thanks for the ID help.
