I've had really cool experiences where I looked like I was another person but still myself....(the trippy you had to be there kind of thing...) and wanted to be friends with myself and all.....and I've had really gross disgusting experiences where anything made of flesh looked horrible. Self image definitely comes into the picture but I don't think there is any real message trying to come through......Its cool to think about though....

A thread like this came up a while ago, somebody said "to fear the mirror is to fear yourself", i think that's true. It's all to do with your opinion of yourself. What you see when you look in the mirror is you, just you.. if you don't like something about yourself or hate the way you look this is what you will see. Keep looking into the mirror until it goes through its cycle, wait until it's just you that you see. After that you should find that you look a whole lot better to yourself, even after the trip. This is who everybody else sees you as.

I always find it fun to look in the mirror while tripping, it has something special for me. I dont see any weird stuff in the mirror, just myself, sometimes a bit more ugly, but this doesnt bother me. I find my eyes to be most interesting, and somewhere I remember analyzing my whole excistence while looking at my eyes in the mirror. Only, I dont know when this was (or will be). The weird thing is that if I stare in the mirror while sober with dim light, my face changes almost instantly to all sorts of weird things, dark creaturses and stuff. At first this was scary, but it gets more and more interesting. And today I found out it even makes me feel better afterwards .

It's all about what you think before you look in the mirror. Go in with the mindset along the lines of "my eyes are going to look extra green" or something like that, instead of "let's see if any food is stuck in my teeth."

God? Jesus? The people who wrote the bible though the earth was flat for fucks sake. "Let there be Light". What a bunch of bullshit...suddenly he just created the world light and the universe knew what he mean. We evolved man. Everything evolves. just my $0.02

the bathroom has always been sort of your own very personal spot when your tripping.. you leave the outside world behind, look at yourself in the mirror and really think for a moment whats going on with your life, and then i guess that gets reflected... how your life is going maybe.. what kind of a person you're becoming...

Hey BIGIDIOT... Firstly about our head-on collision some time ago: I hope you've read my apology and found it to be satisfactory. It was TRUELY from the heart... About the mirror stuff: One of the traits of the Psychedelic Experience is that one often projects the inner process onto the outside world. If you at that time feel bad about yourself, the mirror'll show you you're uglier than Quasimodo. If you're into Good Realms, you look like a Supermodel or even Demigodlike in your beauty. I've had both and even seen my reflection take some 180' turns to both sides as the Inner Process changed polarity. About God: I truely believe the One doesn't demand of people to believe in him any more than your computer wants his chip XZ-12 to believe in it. I truely believe one can't do anything against God's Will since all there is (you, your actions & such) is ALL JUST PARTS OF GOD. Or, to put it in another way: Everything there is is 100% PURE GOD. Now I've had my share of INTENSELY HORRIBLE experiences, but have found some degree of comfort in the belief (Everything's a belief!) that ALL is part of the MASTER PLAN. As for some "Devil": The inverse of the GOD isn't the DOG; there EXISTS no such thing as an inverse to God. To me GOD IS 100% OF EVERYTHING EVEN REMOTELY POSSIBLE. Hey: but that's just Personal Truth, just like anything is...

The only experiances I can remember with a mirror were when I tripped by myself. I remember looking in the mirror for hours, playing with my face and contorting it. It was hilarious. But I dont ever remember thinking I looked ugly. The only thing that really really sticks out about it was how I couldnt seem to walk away. It was almost like an addiction.

i love lookin in the mirror while trippin. it's so fun. i like it when i look like a demon or my muscles travel around my body or when my smile goes on for eternity. looking in the mirror is a trip in and of itself. like in kurt vonnegut's breakfast of champions, the mirrors are called leaks, they leak to another world. just have fun with it. adios. peace.

bull shit. mirror.... schmirror. I question the intelligence of any one who can get hooked on tripping out on the mirror. I question the understanding of any one who takes a conversation about the mirror seriously. Yeah, I've looked in mirrors. My face was dancing and undulating with residual pink elephants. It didn't turn in to a spiritual experience or anything. Oh, and I've have spiritual experiences and left myself notes about it. The best thing of all is to go out to the wilderness, prepaired of course, to trip. Jesus Christ....mmmm....sounds like a name I know. . .

This isn't really on topic but that signature is pretty neat. "Common sense is the collection of prejudices acquired by age eighteen." - Albert Einstein only thing is I'm real happy with the prejudices i aquired by the time I was 18. Oh well.

bathrooms in generall are evil, i find bathroom mirrors are alot more evil than in room mirrors. I think whoever said fear of yourself thing is right on track, i fear something in me, consuming me, or something.
