Does anyone else think it's fucked up that people, going to the movies for entertainment, are going to watch this movie? I mean, talk about exploitation! Furthermore, how can you get into a movie where you know that everyone's dead at the end. So much for character development.
Maybe they'll change the ending:
As the plane spiraled downward into the field in pennsylvania, a glitch in the matrix occured and they all appeared 20 feet away in the woods, safe.
Oh yea and Bush suddenly appeared in the plane and now he's dead.
The End.
Oh yea and there's a rainbow in the sky.

It's more unbelievable to me that people want to make money off of it. I mean, a lot of people have made a lot of money because of it, but it sickens me because you know those people are glad that that happened because they benefited from it.

Ehh, it was done with the consent of every family that lost someone, they let the families meet with who was playing their loved one, it was tastefully done and whatnot..

Yeah, but do you really think they would make it if someone wasn't lining their pockets? Do you really?

There have been numerous movies that cashed in on recalling tragedies..
Some argue that this is too soon, though.

I just find it to be exploitation and pathetic... I just don't understand how people oculd pay to watch a national tragedy turned into a 90 minute drama...it just makes me sick.
What's next The Towering Inferno 2: World Trade Centers?

and allows the elite in society to rewrite history the way they see it. The books are being slammed shut on 9/11. This whole thing sickens me.
I'm most interested to see what kind of product placement is in this film.

I heard that while the soon to be heros ask for a cold, refreshing coca-cola, the shady arab guys insist on Pepsi.

Flight 93 was one of if not the most heroic event in American history. The fact that a group of ordinary people decided that it was their duty to take down a commercial airliner for the greater good astonishes me.
The bravery exhibited by those people will go down in history. Sadly until now, for the most part, those individuals were overlooked for the people who died in the Trade Centers. Do i believe a movie will be testament of what happened on that flight. Yes. Do i believe they are exploiting it for profit. Yes. However, sometimes in order to get a point across deals have to be made and someone has to make money off of it or the ball will never start rolling.
Lastly, I have nothing but the utmost respect for the men and woman on that flight. If the world had more people like that we wouldn't have to worry about people flying planes into buildings in the first place.

I recently heard from a friend that some psycho actually tried to hijack a plane, saying he had a bomb. He was immeadiately taken dow by three or four brave civilians. The flight was accompanied back to its point of origin by F16's. Fortunately, the perp was just a whacko, and didn't have a bomb. But yeah, thanks to 9-11, I seriously doubt anyone will ever get away with hijacking an American plane again.

I don't like the idea for this movie... Waiting a few years after 9/11, and then exploiting it for $$$. It just doesn't seem right to me. Maybe if the earnings were donated to charity or something I'd feel better about it... But using the money for personal gain? Not only is that selfish, but disgusting.

Ever since 9/11 happened, I have seen this bullshit coming. This is really, really bad taste, I think. If the families approved of it, then the families have bad taste. No way am I going to see this shit.
BTW, I read the transcript from the black box on 93, and it seems like the terrorists took the plane down as soon as they realized they were fucked, not the civilians. It's a lovely notion, but it didn't happen that way. And it's a little late for war propaganda, isn't it? I mean, it ain't a war anymore. It's whack-a-mole. It's a joke. This movie's a joke. The way this country reacted after 9/11 was a joke. Fucking pseudo-patriotic horseshit is a joke.
Okay I'm done.
