Yeah, what prompted this comment? I mean its been going down hill since the 80s, but was it all the protests before a war? Or the biggest criminals committing the biggest thefts in History getting off scott free? Or is it that George Bush's top adviser is god? Or is it that the president can't make words into coherent sentences? Or is it that any dissidence gets assassinated or wrongly incarcerated? Was it our puppet governments in other countries installed by US after the US removed democratically elected leaders? Is it that pot is illegal, but you can drink until you die? Is it that nothing shall go unsold in this country? Is it global warming? Or maybe global dimming? Should I go on, or will you just tell us?
I'm raging too...I don't know what to tell you. Every time I protest anything or stand up for what I believe in, I think it just makes the monster stronger or something...

dude if you look back every european country had used manifest destiny or other form of stealin land.. i only think that what is going on right now with the war in iraq is a twisted version of the past comming full circle.. Whether or not you agree with it (I personally dont and really have a distain for the current administration in place) doesnt make it right or wrong. It is just the way the world works.

yeah, that too.
besides, its not like the Indians were peaceful. All the tribes were at war with eachother. This lack of solidarity also contributed to their downfall.
Many minorities love to point fingers, especially at white people. But the fact is, they should probably be pointing their fingers somewhere else. Like, for instance, a mirror.

Actually, my contingency is that the Native American nation destroyed itself via its own crapulence. Crappy government, crappy technology, crappy religion, and crappy immune systems. Sorry, I'm not very good at being politically correct. I consider it more important to be right
Although I do respect the Native Americans for their relationship to the environment and the natural world. That is one thing we can all learn from Native Americans.

Thats a good point
They were killing each other over land for generations. Whites come and beat them at their own game. I guess technological superiority equates to moral inferiority.

"Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security." -Declaration of Independance
Do you want to be able to walk down the street with a joint in your hand with no worries?
How about goin to see a movie trippin balls without the paronoid feeling?
In the Declaration of Independance it calls for a government that serves the people, not rules them. It also says that when the government is infringing on your rights to the pursuit of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness; it is the duty of the people to rise up and set the gov't straight.
I personally am worried about the future of our country. If things don't change we are going to implode, and we don't want that to happen. If you want change, you've got to rise up and speak out. Not only is it your right....it's your duty.

hey, I'm not saying that what the White Man did to your people was right, but morality is a moot point in a universe where God is clearly psychotic.
Besides, most of the indians would have died from smallpox even if they hadn'y been killed by our superior technology and social organization. That was a genetic deficiency on their part. Natural selection is the way God designed evolution, which is why I contend that God is a heartless psychotic.
You do know why Native Americans had crappy immune systems, right? Its because so many of them died crossing the Bering Strait from Asia (what with the harsh, arctic conditons and all) that by the time they made it to America, there were very few of them left. Totally fucked up their gene pool. No diversity at all.
By the way, where did your ancestors get the brilliant idea to leave the fertile, balmy climate of Asia so they could hike accross the blistering cold of Siberia, Alaska, and Canada? Doesn't seem like a very bright idea to me

I see feeding the Troll is all there is to do this time of night...
But does it really matter who did what a few hundred years back? Sure, The Prudes from England sailed there pale asses over to "The Americas". Sure they tricked the Natives, and relocated there ignorant asses. Sure These same people made a "Democracy"(Heh...right), which gave freedom to all people, because we are all created equal (Created? Church and State? wha? wha?). Then while this is in effect, we kidnap Countless people from the tropical regions, causing all kinds of shit, and used them as slaves.
But that was Waaay, way, way, long ago, right? I mean it's not like we bomb hospitals or..say, schools because they are "Secret munitions factories" or some other excuse. And, We don't assassinate other world leaders, then elect someone we like to rule, because our hand is up there ass, untill they break free *Cough*Castro*cough*. Sure the Mexican's may want into the United States of (North) America, for some reason. Sure they want work, work that the lazy 'Americans' don't want to do.
If we are speaking of Bushy, and his greatness, then Shame on you! We should all gather in circles and dance chanting about the greatness that is Bushy. /sarcasm
Ok, I think i'm done for now. Everyone else toss in some fire.

Do you know what also sucks for you guys though? Because of your leaders (and half of your general population) being fucking idiots, now the whole rest of the world hates Americans. Here in New Zealand I've met a lot of 'Canadians' who I have later found out to be Americans calling themselves Canadians to avoid the attached stigmas...must suck being from such a negatively charged country

Hah, that's the funniest thing i've read all day. But seriously, 'Half'? Half of the general population? Try a good 80, to 90%. We Americans are condition to be stupid. It's in the schooling.

Indeed. This is how to find the percentage of complete jackasses in the U.S.A.
1.)Take Bush's IQ, which from my gathering (and un-biased opinion) is ~125
2.)Add the amount of years He's been in power. (Bit over 5, so we'll go 5.)
3.Subtract the "Presidential number" or whatnot (George Washington is 1, Jefferson 2, etc) [43]
4.Add Number of (Actual)supporters..(let's round it out to...say 5,000)
5. Subtract the "Bush Haters" (uncountable)
6. Multiply by 100 for % of americans that are complete jackasses.
(Incase these funky word problems/numb3rs were too much for you, it comes out o ~100%,Assuming uncountable is >0, but < Infinity)

All you people talking about how the indians deserved because survival of the fittest and all that. Thats well and good on a level playing feild, between different elements of nature. man made weapons(especially guns) are not part of nature. What you people are preaching just so you understand is
Might Makes Right
There is no justification for that mentality. and it is the responsibility of the man with Might to show restraint. We have never done so. This is a direct result of western society. Take take take, greed, lust these are the motivators of our society. Not love, not compassion, not tolerance, not temperane, not humility, not respect of the rights of others.
That is far from a nation of God, liek we try to claim. I have no pride in our country. Democracy in itself is just another way of making slaves out of citizens. Just as a monarchy was, just liek everything else, only difference is our houses are bigger and we get to work comfy jobs. But slaves we remain.

You are being much too generous. The man can't make sentences! Subject verb object, conjugate, wtf???
Oops...You'll have to excuse the one, as it is spaced so closed to the 2 key, on my deranged keyboard.
Make more sense now? -Vatharul
(PS. Sure, it may spin a bit goofy, but it gets the point across, no?)

How are man made weapons not a part of nature? A creature of nature made it... A birds nest is natural, a beaver's dam is natural, a human's weapon is natural.
If you buy into religious beliefs that man is separate from nature and not a part of it, then you would believe that man's creations aren't natural. But if your not religious, and acknowledge that man evolved in nature, how could you possibly think anything man creates is not natural? I say man is an animal, and man's creations are just as natural as any animals creation.

Remember that commercial where that Indian walks up to a highway and some asshole throws garbage at him and it makes him cry?
That shit tears me up.
-------------------- No; truth, being alive, was not halfway between anything. It was only to be found by continuous excursions into either realm, and though proportion is the final secret, to espouse it at the outset is to insure sterility. Only connect...

It is attitudes like yours that are helping to destroy America. You think I'll just let you take my country and destroy it and if I don't like it I can get out? I mean, that's what your saying right?
Dissent is unpatriotic?

Remember the first amendment? So what's so wrong with it? Why should I get out because I don't like what I see going on in the country where I was born and so decide to say something about it? Please explain that one to me, because it sounds to me like you're spewing nonsense.

yeah, I hate it when rednecks say stuff like that. "If you don't like it, leave." I'd like to point my glock at their kneecap and say, "Nah, nigga. YOU LEAVE."
Besides, there really isn't a place on this planet that isn't effected by American politics and consumption. I've actually been trying to go to Mars for quite sometime, but I haven't been able to find a ride out there yet

Not to mention all the bullshit red tape associated with moving to another country. All inhabitants of Earth should have free, unrestricted travel from anywhere to anywhere else on their planet at any time they choose. Fuck this world security fortress they're trying to set up.
We're basically right on course towards being totally fucked over by a stolen government.

I'm to blame? Should I have gone out and conquered Washington D.C. last weekend or what?
