simmer temp?

what temp on a stove is simmer? 1-10? Wich one I belive this is were my recent grain attempts have gone wrong.

I'll go ahead and answer before it moves. A simmer is not a setting on the stove. A simmer is when the water is just barely boiling, as opposed to a rapid boil. You'll just have to experiment with your stove until you find the spot.
