I'm setting up a small terrarium in my 100 watt Marshall amp and I'm wondering if it will have any effect on the growth process. the light vibration or the big ass magnet?

if anything the heat from the amp will kill your grow way before you have to worry about things like vibration or magnets
or the moisture will ruin your amp, whichever comes first...
bad idea

a small tub inside the amp? if this is self contained in regarsd to humidity then i see no problems. if you crank it out i wouldn't think the big vibrations would be good. myc network is only a cell thick so it damages easily. i just going to say there are better stealth places to put an FC man.

i realize you wont be growing IN the amp but in a tub, but you're still going to be dealing with a box full of humidity, spray misters, etc. in close vicinity of expensive high powered equipment. as a guitar player myself i'm a lot more worried about your amp than your grow :-)
fan cooled or not, its still going to get warm, and 106 is where your mycelium starts to die... thats a temperature thats going to feel just barely warm to the touch so it might surprise you. voice coils on speakers also generate quite a bit of heat themselves too, so keep that in mind even if you're not near the electronics. if you go ahead with it, at least get a temp probe ahead of time that keeps track of max/min temp (most digis do, and are cheap), stick it in there, go for a jam session and then check what max you got up to and see what i mean.
i still vote no, there's probably a million better places you can find to hide it, but do what you will...
