Sinicuichi - anyone?
    #5557547 - 04/26/06 04:09 AM (17 years, 9 months ago)

Hello fellow shroomers! I want to try out Sinicuichi (Heimia salicifolia) and I wonder if anyone here tried it before? Some info you can find on erowid: http://www.erowid.org/plants/sinicuichi/sinicuichi.shtml
It is said that this is an auditory hallucinogen but it appears to be a quite potent and unique psychedelic. I'll try it someday - maybe next week? Until then I hope to see some info from you girls and guys.

well they grow faster than peyote hehe

i planted some a little over a month ago and they are 4 cm high now. but they can be slow in the start. they need to be seperated (they have tiny seeds so i assume most plants many seeds in one pot) so its not like 5 plants growing pr square centimeter , they also should have a fan blowing on them . i grow mine under hps 400W

I vaporized some, and aside from a fruity taste, I felt little to no effects. Not sure about other means of ingestions, but vaporizing seems to work well for most things...

heimia is good but in order to achieve effects it must be used fresh (chew, tea) or freshly dried (smoke), it is a very interesting plant, the auditory enhancement is great and some feel stimulated by it...

Did you all smoked it? On erowid guy says that after quite easy, crude extraction you can get very potent and powerful psychedelic. He achieved best effect after oral ingestion.

Erowid of course has conflicting reports, but if you got some I would suggest making a concentrated tea or if you wanted to smoke it, use an extract. Internet vendors sell it pretty cheap and there is some good extraction techniques and experiences in the vaults of Erowid. A basic Alcohol or Acetone extraction should do the trick.

I have some growing right now, I got it from a nursery. I guess for all you who are still dealing with seedlings that they are slow to grow, but mine is doing absolutely great. It handled the transplant I did without problems, even after 2 nights in a box in some post office. I have not harvested any, or used any in the past, so I cannot comment on the effects, but I do believe that once it's situated it grows well. I have this feeling that it's gonna turn into almost a weed for my garden, just a feeling.

I smoked it and basically get stoned. It's subjectively most powerful marijuana-like plant that I ever tried. I hope that after extraction I'll get psychedelic effects (like that described on erowid.org). Polish Smart-shop send me seeds of this plant as a bonus so it seems quite promising. Hope that I won't disappoint

Have tried it a couple of times, no effect, but now I know I did it the wrong way.
Have also smoked it and drank some tea.
The trick is, as I understand, to let the brew ferment for a day or two.
Indians call it "the sun-opener" and they leave the brew to stay in a bright sun for a couple of days. One more thing is to stretch consumption for several days/weeks to "build-up" the chemicals and have the organism adapt to the alcaloids.
Also, there are quite a few successful reports in the russian-speaking forums, they usually use vodka as a solvent and they claim it to produce even more pronounced effects than with water, this method is said to work right after consumtion.
My new supply is coming in a few days, I'll try to fix it the right way and will report later.

Today I boiled an unmeasured portion that should fit between 8 and 12 grams. I separated obtained liquid (after 50% of water steamed off) and repeated whole process. All liquid was boiled once again till almost all water was gone. What I was left looked like goo but I mixed it with hot water and drunk 1/4 of this. Effects where slight so I drunk rest and intensify whole experience with hashish. What I experienced was as follows: intensified visual imagination, mild visual distortion, felt energy in head and on face (now all muscles on my neck and head hurt pretty much just like those on hands) and experienced this typical for all psychedelics strange touch with my hands. I think that I should drunk it all at once. Maybe this whole fermentation thing will do the trick.
