Ive been trying to read up on plants containing dmt and ive read that yopo seeds are the most potent. On the other hand no one uses it for ayahuasca so im just wondering why not. The answer has probly been right in front of me but its important because i already purchased lots of syrian rue now i just need to decide what dmt plant i need.

For the traditional ayahuasca brew you will need the more pure dmt plants.
The seeds you have contain a far higher amount of 5meo-dmt than NNdmt.
It is one hell of a subject when you want to know how they ever knew the difference when you consider the millions of plants that surrounded the original creators of this brew. You will not be taking traditional ayahuasca if you dont find a true dmt plant. Viridis or mimosa H. are ideal. The seeds you are talking about might be amazing but thats not ayahuasca for the most part. 5meo-dmt is far different than nn-dmt. I would suggest your first time with ayahuasca you should be using the more nn-dmt oriented type plants. 5meo-dmt plants are used as snuffs for the most part or are added to the ayahuasca in small quantities.
5-meo dmt is not something you want to mess with when using MAOIS, for the most part. If you are the typical westernized hallucinogen user and you want to try ayahuasca, try it without 5meodmt the first time. It would be a totally different experience if you used a plant seed that had mostly 5moedmt in it. The key is on par with the tradition. Use only nn-dmt and maoi plants. Some shamans use small amounts of datura and or 5meodmt. I certainly wouldnt recommend that for a person who it using it for the first time.

It probably has something to do with availability, too.
I can't find this species (in a live plant/seed/other propagative material), although I haven't looked into raw material used for DMT, 5-Me0-DMT preperation.
But yeah, I imagine taking an unknown amount of other tryptamines may make the trip a tad bit unpredictable. As if it wasn't already...
