How many people here read it?
I love sitting down in a local food shop, eating some grub and reading The Onion. The fact that it's free everywhere, makes it one of my most read publications. Sometimes they have some true gems. I also love the fact they use foul language in their articles, makes me happy. Some of the interviews are good as well.

Example, my horoscope:
"A gunslinger will come to town and promise on his mother's grave to put you in a box in the ground, but he will turn out to be the colorful, well-armed architect you hired to build your subterranean mansion."

Absolutely LOVE the Onion. If you ever get a chance, buy "Our Dumb Century". I've read it a million times.
Those writers are just brilliant. Check out "Drunk will show you, everyone" on their website

As far as I know the onion is a website that posts fake news. Let's take a peek at their latest work. How about politics. Oh look, our president is on their feature article! Oh boy I bet it will be a real gut buster! Let's take a closer look at the content of the fake news comedy:
"Every time the president is criticized, he insists that the nation is in his prayers," said the Family Research Council's Bob Jensen. "That may be, but it's becoming more and more clear that these prayers are either too infrequent, too brief, or not strongly worded enough to be effective."
OH! That was a gem! Not the least bit hackneyed or boring or unfunny whatsoever!

I love the Onion! But I find the articles themselves are usually pretty boring, but the the headlines always crack me up!!
I loved the one "Clinton annouces the deployment of vowels to Bosnia"
or "God diagnosed with bipolar disorder"

It's a fucking PARODY site.
They're not the bleeding edge of cutting political satire...take it for what it is, not what you expect or want it to be.
