You would throw up all the mushrooms before you could consume a high enough amount to OD. Of course you can even be hospitalized on small doses if your brain chemistry isn't right for it.

I'm unsure of whether one could overdose if they taking concentrated or pure psylocybin instead. I'm sure it could be possible.

NO you cant but you should read it for your self.

Now it is possible like anything but the amount you would never be able to eat all that.

Check out LD50 "The amount of a toxic agent (as a poison, virus, or radiation) that is sufficient to kill 50 percent of a population of animals usually within a certain time called also median lethal dose"

Off topic, but that's a transvestite with polio, named bunny. When he was dying he took the video specifically to make people queasy. Bunny got polio before vaccinations came out for it.

I think it's hilarious that he'd do that as a final "fuck you" to the world... Least he could find humor in his misfortune...

On another note... Wiggles, that dog looks just like mine...

Its actually from a documentary made on him if I recall correctly. He was rather famous, and if anything - I think its more of a triumph over adversity. The guy got the shit end of the stick in life - got polio, gender identify issues, became a tranny : not exactly the easiest life to live. However, he still managed to live an active/full life, had a cult following and was famous in the Hollywood underground doing shows/performances / etc.

Despite the shit life dumped on him - he still managed to make something of himself, if even it was only in a very niche-circle in an underground scene.

But I do agree - creepy as hell.

Yes, you can.

But it depends on your definition of overdose. Its easy if you are of average sensitivity to take a dose larger than you can handle, or even way more than you can handle, and you may return with post-traumatic stress syndrome or a mood disorder, which amounts to very real injury.

When doses approach 1/8oz there are the first hints of falling unconscious/blackouts/seizures/sudden blood pressure drops in some people and the higher the dose the more people are affected by this, which has not been described with LSD and could possibly be an effect of substances in the mushroom other than psilocin, or the psilocin itself.

Woodloving mushrooms (such as Psilocybe azurescens) seem to give a sort of muscular weakness in high doses, high being several grams.

Let's assume the worst case scenario: someone powders 500gr Psilocybe azurescens, stirs it into a thick porridge with a liter of water and spoons it down before (presumably) passing out.
This can contain 10 grams of psilocin and this is very likely to be lethal.

What I see likely with far lower doses is that you get incapacitated by the psilocin, vomit because of the high dose, aspirate it and choke on it. What kind of dose would incapacitate a person?
Five grams fries most nontolerant people to the bone, so one ounce perhaps? And with azures that hypothetical ounce can equate to ten grams.

WE ARE BEATING A DEAD HORSE PEOPLE!
This topic has been dealt with dozens of times over.
