Lighting

I have upgraded my terrarium, and started using casings, as opposed to rubbermaids..
anyway, the problem is, they arent pinning.
The case was 30% covered when i exposed it to the terrarium & light cycle
They are getting 6 hours of light

they have been trying to pin for 7 days, this is B+ and the strain is SCREAMING (fast colonization, fast re-estabilsihment.. fast on agar)
Do i need more light?
the temp is 23, and humid is 90+

Hang in there... few more days.... You should see pins.Try dropping your humidity down around 90 or 85%..less misting.. more fanning whatever.That may trigger them to pin. It`s not the light cycle... Shrooms don`t photosythesize light like green plants.. The light merely tells them which way is up. They will fruit in 24 hour a day light or as little as an hour. I just got my first print of B+`s yesterday so i`m anxious to try them too :cool:

That?s not a good advice. Casings and cakes need a very high humidity to pin properly something between 95 and 100%.

Once the pins have shown, lower it to 90%.

And: patience.
