Hi Bongtoke, I would make sure it gets plenty of light, plenty of FAE, and just let it fruit. I think a lot of people have the idea that some mycelium poking through is a good thing. I've got my best pinsets when I could see nothing but casing when it went in the FC.

I agree with Rahz, plus your myc looks fairly even to me. Fruit that baby!
Oh, and don't forget to send me a print or syringe of PE too!

Well, you waited too long I let the casing colonize for a few days, and then patch at the first sign of mycelium. The idea is that the growth will continue for around 2 days, so you want the mycelium slightly less than 2 days under the dirt.
It looks OK though, you'll get a good pinset.
I screwed up many casings before I started getting really good ones. My best pinset, the mycelium poked through on day 2 in the FC and quit growing. The surface was mostly dark, but looking closely you could see the tiny hairs poking through everywhere. I should have took pictures.

no coir..just peat/verm/lime..listen guys...i looked at my casing lastnight for the first time and sawe tha it needs a lil patching around the edges so i patched and fruited assuming the mycelium was right under the surface...and today after work i wet to look in the fc and the myc was popig up everywhere..so i wasnt sure if i should [patycj again assuming the myc will continue to grow for another day or so..my main concern is overlay thats all

Relax. You patched and fruited, now let it run it's course. If you continually patch that casing, you'll be chasing that myc until the cows come home.

When your casings go into the FC you should never see any myc on the surface! Remember there is a transitional period where the mycelium goes from the vegetative mode to the generative mode usually this periods duration is approximately 5-7 days it's by the time this period is complete that you want the myc in all the valleys ideally this my friends is the timing that seperates the inexperienced from the experienced. I have to say many cultivators simply naturals and their timing is second nature without thought. Environmental conditions also play a big part in a successful flush.

hmm...well its to late for that but..do you think my poo casing will get a ok pinset?i mean iam sure lots of people let myc poke up before fruiting alot and they get great pinsets, everytime i put the casing in the fc when i new it was right below i never got good pinsets, all my good pinsets were when i let the myc come up a day or so then fruit

Sure you can get a good pinset remember cubies can pin pretty nicely without a casing even so you should do alright still.

Leave it alone :P
It will be fine, just keep the light on it and keep up with your FAE and let it do its thing

This turned out OK without a casing:
