Ok so I have about 9 casings, one of those nine is doing fine as pictured below. The rest however seem to pinned about a week ago but stopped or are going really really really slow because i havent noticed any growth. What could be the issue? Any ideas or remedies?
Thanks in advance
healthy casings

same casing

Here is the problem casing.

same casing

Are they under watered? Not enough light time? humidity too low/high? More darkness needed? what the heck? Am I screwed are they doomed?
thanks See the pins.. no changes

Looks like your casing layer is really thick.

if that is the case that they are too wet is it a very bad idea to dry out the casing slightly by elevating the temp in the FC and removing the RH for an hour or so to allow the soil to dry a small bit?

That casing is wayyy too wet. I would suggest to stop misting it, lower your RH to 85% and maybe even do a light scraping to that casing. There is definitely to much water in it. Look at this pic http://www.shroomery.org/forums/files/04-34/302022554-florida_pins2.jpg see how the surface is more open/bumpy? whereas yours is all matted down? you want it to look like that pic.

Ya your casing layer is WAY to wet, compaact and MATTED! The casing layer should be light, fluffy and as airy as you can get it. If you grab a handful of your casing material and squeeze it, you should just BARELY get a little water to drip out .. yours is completely saturated with water.
Sorry guy, Im not really sure what you should do at this point other than try to drop your humidity. Honestly, I would scrap the entire casing layer off of it recase it properly and let it sit and wait for "second" flush .... assuming that casing layer hasnt contamed yet.
Its a learning process, dont worry to much .. but that casing layer is so wet that I dont think dropping the humidity in the air will help anything, scrape it all off, read the tech's here at the shroomery, and re-apply a casing layer with the correct consistancy and moisture level.

What we're trying to say is that a coir casing should be soaked to expand then drained. Enough so that a light squeeze only gets you a few drops. Think more "sponge" than "clay."
