Spore prints -q-

Afoaf , has a few casing going good , all derived from the same print , what he was wondering was would it matter what type of mushroom was printed , if you take a print from a large mushroom then your more likely to get larger fruits from that print or can you take a print from a smaller one and get smaller fruits ? Reason is afoaf had some really large fruits from this print , now its slowing down and the fruits are smaller so he's wondering if he prints form the smaller caps will he still get those large fruits ?? Or the smaller fruits ??

There are literally millions of spores on a print.... so it won`t matter. If you want to be more likely to get larger shrooms take a flesh sample from one of the big ones and stick in some honey water.Look in search under cloning also

What do you mean take a fresh sample and place in honey water ?? foaf is familiar with honey water tek but not this , is this a way of cloning ?Do you mean to add spores to the water or a chuck of mushroom ? She did a search again and found no other info about it , could you explain a little .

Take a large shroom..... one you want to clone..... flame a scalpel and let cool and slice the shroomie lengthwise.... flame again and cool it in alcohol &cut some of the flesh from within....not the outside... then drop in some honey water... You can also drop it in some peroxide and let it fizz for a sec and then drop in the honey jar.Of course use sterile techniques at all times... I use the oven tek.
