Hi. I don't think they are subbs... I'm not quite sure what you mean by "wooded area". Were they growing ON wood or nearby? Neat looking finds!

I would wait for a second opinion if I were you. shroominDole may be correct, but they look iffy to me. Best to wait for confirmation by someone down under.

Dude when you go grabbin up that many.....watch you dont get too hype and grab somethin funny.....see deadlys all the time touchin the kind.....I mean actually touchin......can be big surprizes down the line.....make sure anything you find distincly turns a hard blue first before any intentions(not all mushrooms that bruise blue are O.K. and can be poisonous) .......this can take a while.....and when you get back lay em down flat on white paper after you cut the stems off and they will leave a spore print and learn to recognize that color (DARK PURPLISH CHOCOLATE BROWN TO ALMOST PURPLE BROWN BLACKISH SOMETIMES) and its good practice for helping to distinguish between other shrooms like some poison ones maybe although I just ID'd some from N.Z. few days ago with same spore color that grows on wood that some even also consider a Psilocybe .....Hypholoma (Naematoloma,Psilocybe) fasciculare "Sulfer Shelf" which aint always yellow and highly variable cap colors with shapes that can look just like "SUBs"......IT CAN MESS YOU GOOD......like the hospital maybe worse......caution
EDIT: ????

Any mushroom in your photo that turns blue is in fact an active Psilocybe. I can't see blue accept maybe on one of them, hense my apprechension. Lots of people who come here imagine blue; I'm not saying you're that guy, just saying some people see blue when it ain't there.
Be obidient to your awareness and you will be OK.

cant agree more.....can never have tooo many eyes and opinions.....thats for sure!......this is how we learn and be safe.....
but I wouldn't necessarily state that an opinion from a person is neccessarily "CONFIRMATION" just because that person resides "down under".....just on several recent threads from N.Z. I've seen cyannescent Weraroa...which is still not known as 100 % safe at all for all its geographical populations.....being suggested as possibly Psilocybe semilanceata and Psilocybe Makarorae.....the poisonous Hypholoma fasciculare (which everyone hunting "SUBs" should get to know intimately) suggested as Psilocybe subaeruginosa.......and DEADLY CORTINARIUS suggested more than once as a possiblity of being Subaeruginosa (tho corectly ID'd as NOT a SUB by another "down under").....ALL by people who live there.....just like Im sure there have been a few misinterpretations on U.S. I.D.s made by residents from the U.S.......I know I sure aint right about everything by ANY means and dont ever expect to..... but I wouldn't neccessarily say that any of my several recent N. Z. identifications are any less of a "CONFIRMATION" as evidenced by this thread because I dont reside.....but I do respect and understand your reservations and intent here as you can never in this case anyway have too many cooks in the kitchen when something could end up possibly ingested......just wanted to point out that one should NEVER eat a mushroom or consider it's identity as "CONFIRMED" that some one ID'd for you or told you was O.K. to eat from a picture over a website for reasons and examples just stated.................unless identified as POISONOUS !........then consider it "CONFIRMED"
Caution.....no short cuts!
