Are there any growers in California? I live here in Southern California, and sometimes Oregon during the summer... I read on most of the various shops and websites around the Net that mushroom-related things (spores, etc) are ILLEGAL to send to California... This being the case, how do people in California grow their own? Is there an underground spore market (yeah, right *sighs again*), or am I just SOL? Thanks for the responses.

I live in Long Beach, CA, where are you? I had no problems ordering my spore syringes from psylocybe fanaticus. They arrived in a couple of weeks, and now I'm well on my way.

See, I have no idea what spore syringes or spore prints are... I'm still researching the whole mushroom growing thing. But, I live in Wrightwood... Its about 30 minutes from Ontario (I think). *shrugs* I dont know. I am still debating on whether or not I should grow mushrooms. Anyways, thanks for the tips.
