Yellow patches on my san pedro?

one of my pedro cati has got some yellow..sploches on it..
dose anyone know what this means?
i will try and post a pic when i get battires for my camera tomrrow if that will help?

it could be too much humidity. dry air + sun is probably the cure, i suspect its "rust" you have gotten.

it's just growing in my living room, and i live in southern ontario..canada so its just starting spring here, so the air hasn't been humid at all.

Nah, man... It's likely there to stay.  Don't worry too much, though.  It will still throw off pups as usual.  Just let one get big enough to make a cutting of then ditch the yellow.  :smile:

[edit]  serious, it'll be "fine".  Pedros are very tough.  That previous pic was of an intentionally abused cutting.  I threw it against a wall once a week.  Never gave it any misting.  Planted it upside-down.  And that was after cutting it with an unsterile knife and leaving it lay about for 3 months.

I planted it in late september.
Look at'm now.



Your guy will be fine.  Just let him grow.  He'll last long enough to get you a good, healthy cutting in time.  <3
