Salvia Poll - Music Or Silence?

So what do you guys think, would you rather smoke salvia with some music playing or in silence? So far i've only smoked it once and I did it in silence, but I'm planning on putting in Dark Side of the Moon for my next trip. Also what are your reasons for your choice, and what is some of your favorite music to play?

Silence. When you break through, chances are you won't hear the music. But lights and noises kind of bring you back to reality, so I'de say quiet in a dark room.

That makes sense, but i was planning on using the music to just calm me down before I take my hits. The first time I tried salvia my heart was beating extremely fast after i had packed the bowl and it kind of sucked.

I voted music, because while you probably won't notice it during the plateau, it makes for a pleasant, gradual return to baseline. I'd recommend Aphex Twin's selected ambient works 85-92

the music only made the trip worse and distracted me no matter what kind of music was playing.

Try some tool. I personally enjoy music very much, but, obviously everyone is different. Your just going to have to try it for yourself.

I've heard alot of people talk about 'breaking through'. Sorry to intrude in your thread as this is a little off-topic, but could someone explain to me what this means?

Terrapin station and Eyes of the World are my fav. salvia tunes. Allthough you dont really hear it (or cant follow) the music during the peak.
