tiny shrooms

ive been getting good flushes in terms of #' of shrooms for my flushes with cakes and casings for z-strain. the only problem is they are way small. the shrooms are not larger then 3in tall, and the caps about the size of pennies and nickels! my FC is optimal, at least i think so. the temps are always 73F-75F, RH 99%. light cycle 12/12, i fan with and electric fan 2-3 times a day and have a aquarium pump pumping filtered air 24/7. this is only my second grow, and my first with z-strain. my first grow was with a much more basic set up, the 10gal PF tek terrarium. i had B+ before and the fruits were much larger, there were at LEAST 3in, and the caps were neve smaller then the size of a quarter. I half assed that grow and iddnt take car of it at all. This time I went all out and tend to it all the time every day. With my new set up and care I get pins in about a 1 to 1 ? week, and once I get pins the shrooms grow and mature fully in 3-4. days im not sure if im doin something wrong or if its just the strain. As it is only my second grow, and both times were with two different strain im not sure what ti think. anyone have experience with z-strain? any input would be greatly appreciated.

BRF subsrate, i think i might not have made a deep enough subsrate layer but i got small fruits from the cakes as well. not just the casing. also my B+ was grown off of non-organinc BRF and got great results. the BRF for thease cakes were organic.

What do you mean "non-organic"? Brown rice by nature is organic. I'd grind your own if you aren't already. If not having a PC is what's stopping you from using WBS or rye, get a hold of some poo and spawn your BRF cakes to a 3-4" depth of it. You'll like the results!

I sense a little pissy-ness in your reply.
Anyhoo, if the only ingredient listed on your brown rice is "brown rice", it's organic. Most people who eat brown rice do so because it isn't enriched in any way. I haven't seen too many hippies looking for hormonally supercharged, genetically altered brown rice in my area

they have brown rice in publix that has preservatives and garbage in them. not usualy alot but just a lil. go to a wild oats or health food stores and its a lil bit more expensive with no "bad stuff" in it.

white rice inst enriched, its the inner core of a brow rice grain. there are brow rice fields that get sprayed with pesticides and fungicides. there are some that are also genetically engineered. they sell them in just about any grocery store. That?s why its cheaper the organic, it takes less work to produce. if you dont see hippies seeking non-organic brown rice flower it prob cause they are looking for it! anyways, back to the topic of the thread, any know got any ideas or experice with z-strain?

Hmmm.... we must shop at different Publix stores then:
(Natural) Brown Rice-

(Enriched) White Rice-
