Indiana log finds

The mushroom depicted in the first two pics looks like Galerina autumnalis, a mushroom that contains compounds which can cause a rather unpleasant death.
In your second group of photos I am unable to decern the texture of the underside and therefore can?t really be sure. Is it tooth like or porous? A Tyromyces species maybe but again I can?t really tell from the photo.

I agree that the first ones look close enough to Galerina marginata to avoid. That species contains high levels of amatoxins that can cause death by liver failure.

The second ones look like Polyporus squamosus, Dryad's Saddle. Although technically edible, I wouldn't bother. Everybody I know who has tried them has said that they weren't worth the effort to cook and eat.
