Terrarium eating question?

Im constructing a new terrarium out of a 40 gallon clear rubbermaid container and due to the act that my grow space gets very cold in the winter I am trying to determine the best waytoheat.Im thinking either a submersble heater int bottom of the containerwith a couple of inches of peroxidated water with a bubbler for air and humidity or a more complex setup with a submersible pump running heatin coils into the tank with an external heated resevoir. Im wondering if the water in the bottom would cause either too much humidity or possibly contams from the standing water(maybe th peroxide would help). Any suggestions?

Running a external with the coils buried in damp perlite would be the safest as far as contaminants go. You can also add some H2O2 to the perlite for added precaution.
