circadian rhythym...anybody?

How many of you have sleeping disorder? I do not have a circadian rhythym right now...i go to sleep sometimes at 5 PM, other times at 2 am, 4:30 am...whenever. When I actually do fall asleep at a proper hour (11 pm or midnight) I wake up a few hours later. This has been going on for a few months now. Anyone else with the same prob?

I have insomnia.
Sleeping pills are enough to get it under control though.

a cowork of mine is narcoleptic, he has been prescribed GHB to take before bed.
I've gone through stints of pretty serious insomnia. Excessive excercise, food and drug use helps put me to sleep now, but I still can't sleep more than 5-6 hours in a night.

do you eat in your sleep and drive cars off cliffs while you sleep? i hear that's a major problem for those taking hypnotics.

I think that the key to proper sleep is to do the right kind of exercise.
What is the right kind of exercise? That depends on your taste, really, but here is some good stuff to look at.

Do a few hundred tiger bend squats. That's all you'd need to do. And you would be OUT. So let me say this another way. You do a 10 minute workout balls out and that equates to a full 8 hours of restful sleep. Guaranteed. How is that not worth it?
