Puffball success,on one try?

Okay,last summer,I found a puffball in my field,so,I pulled it out took it to the house,ground it up in the Blender for 2 mins,pored it into a Ziplock food container..and then I went back into the field looked around for more,I was one lil pin fruiting near some peat moss,so I pulled out half the peat,and i got some of the spawn and dead leaves that the original puff was growing on..and I took it back ,blended it up as well...then PC'ed that shit,waited i\for it to cool,then put it in the ziplock container containg the spores and such...

and just a few mins ago,I looked in on it(i forgot about it completly) and saw lil black pins....it shocked the shit out of me... is it success? Or some freaky kind of contamination that grows mycelium and pins like mushes?

I'll try and get some pics soon....

that's contamination...possibly cobweb mold. Those are the reproductive structures of the lower fungi.
