PF Cakes done colonizing, but shrunk in the jar
    #5545813 - 04/22/06 10:58 PM (17 years, 9 months ago)

someone i know has some pf cakes and they are just getting done, some of them are already fully colonized, and these cakes are shrunken to a smaller size in the jar, so there is a gap between the cake and the jar. are they dehydrated? or is everything ok?

means they shouold pop out easy. but better yet dunk those guys. don't bother putting them in individual bowls or anying like that just fill the jars up with water (bottled if you have bad tap water. also some people use h202 some do not.) put the lid back on to keep the cake down. drink for 12-24 hours then roll in dry verm then mist til lthis verm is wet.

I recommend not dunking inside of the same jars, the cakes will be a pain in the ass to remove after they have absorbed water.
