    #5542644 - 04/21/06 11:11 PM (17 years, 9 months ago)

I got a exo-terra fog generator, 4 months ago.

I put a new element today it still dosen't work.

It will start but dies in about 1 minute.

What do yall have luck with, ebay has a few

different ones but they look alike. I use a

coolmist humidifer also

You can put them in a floating ring, so that it stays at the best operating depth when the water level goes up and down. Those vibrating disks in the fogger need to be replaced occasionally, too. And, don't stick your finger in the water above a running one, ouch.

Haha, I learned that the hard way too. One time the fogger even tipped onto its side inside the plastic tupperware enclosure of my homemade humidifier, and it burned a hole right through the plastic!
