so I'm pretty well versed in most art mediums and I think I'm going to learn airbrushing. and i don't mean those cheesy tee shirts and license plates at the
Once my effin taxes post to my account i'll have a little extra money to get started
what do you guys think? i think it'll be a decent side-job. I'm sure once I'm good enough to start doing motorcycles/cars I would be making decent money.
anyone here have any good graphics/airbrush artists they know of? or anyone know an airbrush artist and about how much they make?
I like this guy www.sweetairbrushing.com
the guitars are amazing. I can totally do this, there will just be a little bit learning how to use the instruments.
so yeah, anthing you guys know about this subject, tell me about it.

i am trying to airbrush, but i dont have paint... lol. my paint seems so thin that you cant see any of the colors. makes airbrushing a little hard.. hehe. but yea, airbrushing is fun but can take a while to learn. and if youre gonna make it a side job then you better get good at it first, last thing you want is to fuck up someones bike. plus, with so little experience in airbrush, no one will hire you anyway.... honestly i think your rushing into things with thise side job idea. and to make things like that guy in the webside you linked, you wont be doing that any time soon... you probably will end up doing cheezy t-shirts and honestly i think thats good, its part of the learning process.

I don't think I'll just airbrush a portrait of kurt cobain on a guitar the first time i attempt.
I figure about a year before i can even do anything good enough to sell, a few years at least before i can start doing things on like bikes.
anyway, that's cool you're learning airbrush. I'm excited about learning

I was looking for airbrush artists about a year ago for my case modding business. I needed someone to paint computer cases for me. I found one guy that was a really amazing artist and he did a lot of cars, instruments, goalie masks, etc. He had never done a computer case. He was asking $400 to paint each side of the case, so $800 total for the whole case. We never did get one done, but it would have been amazing to see a finished case.

One of the coolest air brush jobs I have ever seen was for a show on the speed channel. It pitted two air brush artists against each other to design the car. What I thought was the winner came up with a cool aliens meets king tut meets street racer. It was cool. I jsut wish I could remeber the name of the show or artists so I could find more. Anyone help me out here?
