"then you see that truth is entertainment, because who really fucking knows,or could ever know and explain? "

True, but you shouldn't rule out the fact that for a lot people, talking about philosophical matters is entertainment as well. +That there always is the hope that you will learn something new.

More properly: you can't prove contingent non-existentials.

precisely.

There are things we know. We can learn about the world as human brains interpret it. It is not the real world perceived directly, and we all know this. However, like you said we organize observations. There are a lot of constants about perception that persist for most everyone. People have 2 arms and 2 legs. We may be missing the reality that we have infinite arms in every moment of time, all at our command, if we only had more advanced brains. Or something. But we as humans understand this, and seek to find the order not in the world as it truly exists, but as it exists in the minds of we who live in it.

In my opinion, a better picture of truth (than the previous sentence) is an impossible achievement, and cannot be expected. Our maximum capacity may well be blind, dumb, small creatures, compared to all that exists to be known. We strive to be more anyway, because we can strive. Toward the end of his life, Einstein wrote a note about how he was just a dim-witted creature. We all are. I don't think it's any reason to ignore all that we have accomplished, insignificant as it is.

What about the reality that some people don't have two arms or two legs? :smirk:
