SA on Rye. Peat Moss or Coir???

Im attempting to grow some SA using Rye. i have a lot of colonized jars right now, and will be casing tomorrow (as well as G2Ging a lot of other jars). I have an entire bag of peat moss, and an entire brick of coir (in my attempt to make sure i have everything i could possibly want to try, on hand). I was wondering which i should use...i've heard 50/50+ (peat and verm) is better for pinning, but i've also heard good things about 60/40 (coir and verm) and have sued it before. In my exact situation what should i use. Everything about my grow is featured in my journal here: http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/5523182/an/0/page/0
look at that what should i use? thanks!!!

as i under stand it theb 50/50 is th ebest dur to coir having too much nutiriants which supports overlay, so go with the 50/50 peat/coir

coir is a great casing material. peat sometimes needs a buffer and it might be easier to go with coir.
it's my favorite.

diablo - How thich were your substrate/casing layers? I've heard a slightly thicker coir/verm casing is advised? It looks like you have no overlay what-so-ever. Tips?
